Janazah, Jummu'ah, and Memorial Service for Imam W. Deen Mohammed

Please note: The updated information below was recieved via email overnight from Ayesha Mustafa at the Muslim Journal. The site for jummu'ah and the memorial service has changed. The weather report is predicting rain, therefore, no activities will be held outside.

Thursday, September 11 - Janazah Service

The janazah for Imam W. Deen Mohammed is planned for Thursday at 1:45 p.m. at the Islamic Foundation of Villa Park, 300 W Highridge Rd., Villa Park, IL 60181, followed by internment at Mt. Glenwood Cemetery, 18301 E Glenwood and Thornton Rd., Glenwood, IL 60425.

Friday, September 12 - Unity Jummu'ah Congregational Prayer

The Muslim community will hold a unity Jummu'ah, at the Homewood Hotel (site of First Sunday's Address), 17400 S. Halsted, Homewood, IL.

Saturday, September 13 - Memorial Service

Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith).
