SHARE Indianapolis Announces Groundbreaking for Hijrah House

Saturday July 25, 2009
4088 Millersville Road
Indianapolis, IN 4622
From Salatal Fajr to Asr

The “Hijrah House” is the proposed transitional housing for reverted Muslims leaving the State and Federal Prison system.  Each participant upon leaving confinement can be housed in “Hijrah House” where he will receive assistance in making the transition from prison living to becoming productive autonomous members of the community.  We will provide direct services such as wrap-around skills, counseling, plus providing referrals to job readiness, job training, permanent housing etc.

This is a project of MANA and Indianapolis will have one of the first operating “Hijrah House”.

Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.
